Q.Is Breakthrough Networking really free to attend?
Yes, 100%! You never have to pay an entry fee at the door or pre-pay with a credit card. Our generous local sponsors pick up the tab for the venue and appetizers so that organic networking is accessible to all Northern Nevada professionals.
Q.Do I need to RSVP or claim a ticket in advance?
We strongly recommend claiming your free ticket online. Claiming a ticket generates your digital QR pass for fast door check-in, adds your profile to the attendee list so other professionals know you are attending, and reserves your spot before venue capacity is reached.
Q.Why are events cross-listed on Eventbrite?
We syndicate our mixers to Eventbrite to maximize local search engine optimization (SEO) and help new Reno-Tahoe transplants discover the mixers. However, official ticketing, digital passes, and attendee networking are managed directly right here on our Breakthrough Network platform.
Q.What is the dress code for the mixers?
Business casual to business professional. Most attendees come straight from work or client meetings. Clean, professional attire is standard.
Q.How does the Digital Business Card / vCard feature work?
Every registered member has a custom Breakthrough Profile. When you attend a mixer, you can display your profile QR code on your smartphone. Fellow attendees scan your code with their phone camera to instantly view your profile, connect in the network, or download your contact details (.vcf) directly into their phone contacts!
